Victoria Robertson, Solicitor

Victoria studied modern languages at Durham University, as part of which she spent a year living and working in France and the Czech Republic, before doing legal training at the College of Law in York and Inns of Court Law School in London. She then trained at Lupton Fawcett and qualified in March 2007, staying at Lupton Fawcett until joining the Needle Partnership in September 2009.

Victoria practices employment and corporate law. She has experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and recently has dealt with TUPE, redundancy, and unfair dismissal claims as well as drafting various documents including compromise agreements, staff handbooks and employment contracts. She has particular expertise in disability discrimination cases. She also provides employment support on corporate transactions. Victoria is a logical and pragmatic solicitor who enjoys finding the best solution to her clients’ problems.

In her spare time Victoria enjoys spending time with her young daughter, going to the gym and running, cooking (with a large glass of wine!) and travelling (although the extent of the travels have been curtailed somewhat by said young daughter!). She speaks fluent French and very rusty Czech and Russian and is currently studying for a post-graduate diploma in French.
