The Needle Partnership is a young, dynamic and ambitious law firm founded by Sharon Needle and Ian Richardson both of whom had previously worked together at Eversheds LLP where Ian led the London Private Equity team, acting for major private equity firms including 3i and Lloyds Development Capital.
Sharon is a corporate/commercial lawyer experienced in managing major domestic and international transactions and possessing expertise in Corporate Finance and Banking work, as well as a being a long established practitioner of Islamic Finance and the development of Shari'ah compliant investments. Sharon is dual qualified, being a Malaysian Barrister as well as having been admitted to the Shari'ah bar in Malaysia.
Together, Sharon and Ian were instrumental in developing their former employer's overseas practice, particularly in the Far East, before Sharon successfully took on senior leadership roles within major national and international law firms and Ian went on to forge a highly successful career in the private sector, where he still occupies a number of senior non-executive roles.
In October 2007 Ian and Sharon jointly founded The Needle Partnership LLP, an entrepreneurial and innovative law firm which is focused on providing clients with the highest levels of service and expertise whilst operating in a commercial, practical and cost-effective manner to ensure clients obtain timely results. Able to provide clients with levels of expertise and knowledge rarely found outside the major international and large national practices, The Needle Partnership LLP approach is business-like, focused and results oriented.
